Have some fun!

Hebri Boards are the makers of sustainable wooden belly boards, handcrafted in New Zealand.

Our mission is to create long lasting fun, with as little damage to the world as we can manage.

So what is a Hebri Board?

Our wooden boards are based on the original Hawaiian belly boards, which historians date back as far as 2,000 BC. Hawaiian children used these boards as practice for surfing and it’s where boogie boarding began.
Our boards follow the same shape as those original boards and are hand crafted using marine grade plywood, then finished with Linseed Oil. The oil is non toxic and eco friendly - you could eat off this board, it’s that good!
If you treat your board right, it should last you for years - but when it is time for a new one, your old board wont sit around in a landfill like its polystyrene cousins.

The beauty of bellyboarding is that anyone can do it!

Surfing, whilst an amazing sport, can be quite intimidating. You need the right board, the right conditions and some degree of skill.
Bellyboarding has none of those requirements. Obviously the right board is important (ahem…), but other than that, you just grab it and go for it until you catch a wave, (any wave will do) and then you can consider yourself a bellyboarding pro!
